Our Story

We’ve specialized in Korean street/casual food, known as "Boonsik" in Korean, for 20 years! Morak was inspired by our first restaurant, called Myunga, which was opened after our owner's brother-in-law came back from the military. He served in both Iraq and Afghanistan and missed his mother's cooking while he was overseas. She became inspired to open her own restaurant, serving Korean casual/street food.

Our mission is to introduce Korean food to those who are not familiar with Korean cuisine. At its core, Morak is authentic Korean casual food, serving dishes like kimbap, bulgogi and bibimbap, but we also have Korean chicken and chicken sandwiches. We hope our customers come to love Korean food as much as we do!
